SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT TO BRING US TOGETHER
Last night I spent an hour on a conference call with Democracy for America on Online Media: how to start a blog, how to make it successful, how to leverage success into mainstream attention. Check out this for examples:
Leftyblog is recommended as clearinghouse of local political blogs, what they write, how they write it and ideas for local activism and fundraising. I want to get St Aug progressives and activists involved on a web based level and make a community outside of email that brings different groups together on issues. I've been going to CIA meetings for months and bringing their activities to the PPJ and vice versa. For example, ActBlue helps you set up fundraising pages for candidates. Check this out:

Why can't we do something like this and all contribute our ideas towards a common cause, whether electing candidates, organizing local actions, exposing corruption or environmental issues? Think about it
