DREs to be decertified?

Good grief, they are just now figuring out how stupid the whole concept is?

PRIVACY? Here's your stinkin' privacy

This CNBC show about surveillance will chill you to the bone. Series of YouTube vids on different aspects of what people can find out about you through our everday activities. Prepare to be afraid.

DON'T BUY INTO THE "PUBLIC EXPRESSION OF RELIGION ACT" ANOTHER ORWELLIAN LAW

You won't believe this account. DailyKos is running a website: dykosopedia, that is going to list and track congressional committees in the attempt to provide information on legislation and individuals who must be held to account for their decisions. They represent US and we have to make our voice heard, especially on bogus feel good legislation like this that erode our Bill of Rights. Act, call, write and speak out.

RUMSFELD AND A MOUNTAIN OF MISERY

I love Amy Goodman. It's true Rumsfeld owns this property on Maryland's Eastern Shore and conveniently next to his good buddy, Darth Cheney. Great analogy here.

Nance Greggs nails it again

I love when she distills the whole Bush/Bush cabal thing down to terms every parent can relate to. We can go on and on about W's failures and omissions but she tells it in everyday commonsense terms.

HOLY CRAP

I've read Mike Whitney before and he is usually on target. I had actually expected some sort of bogus "attempt" on Bush prior to the election and the usual roundup of suspects to push the elections back into fear mode. This article is much more Machiavellian in that Cheney's got favors out all over the place, lots of skeletons to hide and many reasons to eliminate the Bush cabal. He's outnumbered big time but let's remember, he's a relatively uneducated man who fights dirty and has no respect for the law. He also appointed himself VP so that should tell you something about the behind the scenes support he has.

It's clear to me: Impeachment is the ONLY OPTION

Read Rob Kall's piece to see exactly how the Dems will be subverted in their attempts to investigate any wrongdoing by this administration. And the lame American public will not understand what's really going on and start whining about "revenge" instead of worrying about the DEMAND of the Constitution to impeach for any number of Bush's crimes.

Now here's a really scary scenario

Although manipulation on this scale from the secretive cabal surrounding the elite families in this country wouldn't surprise me in the least. It'll be interesting to watch Cheney's next move. I was shocked to learn he supposedly would be "hunting" on election day. Talk about sang froid. Or maybe no blood at all.....

TO IMPEACH OR NOT TO IMPEACH

OK, read this post and tell me if we can believe that Pelosi and Dean are astute enough to gradually build the groundwork and slowly reveal the crimes over time to lead the American people to the truth. Then, IMPEACH THE BASTARDS AND TRY THEM FOR WAR CRIMES.

No more screaming into the thunderstorm

The people of America have a lot of work to do. Regardless of what you write your congressperson or post on blogs, we have to start educating ourselves and our friends and the rest who don't give a shit on our Constitution, our rights and duties as citizens of this great country. We will have a lot of challenges ahead: economically and energywise, and we have to realize we stick together under the structure of this country as founded needs to be trusted and supported for us to survive. It's no longer "just a goddamned piece of paper". Congress has the DUTY to impeach the president for violating the Constitution. Let's bring the conversation back to where it belongs: following the rule of law, and leave this diversionary crap of "revenge" to the wingnuts. Time to get to work.

Nanny 911 and the Repubs NO!!!!!

This is too cute and all too true. Great analogy that serves to remind us of how childish and petty the whole last 5 years or more have been. Enjoy.

THIS IS WHAT WE MUST DO NOW....

thereisnospoon makes a concise list of things that need to happen to reverse the rightward trend of discourse, policy and decision making in our country right now. This is long but worth it. I read a recent article stating the new governance must include, in all respects, a vision of the future as opposed to looking regressively to the past. He calls for calm and patience. The truth will come out in time without alienating the whole nation towards the governing process and the partisanship we've all been thrown into.

Bush's Chernobyl Economy

I like Mike Whitney and the way he describes the economy. I don't understand all of the terms but I get the general gist of what he's trying to say. We've all known this unconsciously for the past few months. Let's see if oil and gas prices rise now and pay attention to Fed Reserves moves. I think it's going to get rough out there for all us normal everyday people.

Here's how the 2006 Mid Term Election was Stolen

This is what I've been talking about for months. I bet we see little of this in the mainstream media mainly because this isn't really exciting news to most of America. What a joke. Dems should have been out in force to beat these numbers back

IS BUSH NEXT?

They left Condosleaza Rice off the list. Let's see, we can start with the illegal invasion, move on to Katrina genocide and mismanagement, move on to the illegal warrant tap issue and wrap it all up with the inside job of 9/11. So much to do; so little time. Bet that property the Bushes have bought in Paraguay is looking pretty good.

Bush Names Exxon Chief to Chart America's Energy Future

Unfucking believable. Sometimes so much stuff goes on I can't keep it straight. How about shutting down the inspector general over contracts in Iraq? Not like we all just didn't see "Iraq for Sale" and all those abuses. Shoved that one in a huge appropriations bill. Most reps didn't even know it was in there when they voted. Another secret committee, no discussion move. What else will these clowns try? A bogus attempt at assassination prior to the midterms? Uncovered in the nick of time by our super homeland security?
